This Service Policy explains what the Aman service is, how it works, and what you can expect when you use it. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Pricing Plan, and Refund & Return Policy.
Aman App ("Aman", "we", "us") operates a global matching and discovery platform — available as a mobile application and at myamanapp.com — that helps people ("Clients", also referred to as "Patients") find and connect with independent mental-health professionals ("Therapists"). The terms "Client" and "Patient" are used interchangeably throughout this policy and have the same meaning.
Aman is a technology platform, not a healthcare provider. We do not provide therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and we do not employ the Therapists you find through the Platform. Therapists are independent professionals solely responsible for the services they offer.
Through Aman, the service we provide is limited to the technology and tools that help Clients and Therapists connect:
The actual therapy, counselling, or consultation takes place directly between the Client and the Therapist. Aman is not a party to that relationship.
The service is available to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or who use the Platform under the verifiable consent and supervision of an eligible parent or guardian, as described in our Terms). Therapists must be independent practitioners responsible for holding and maintaining the licences, registrations, and qualifications required to lawfully provide their services. Clients select their own Therapist. Aman does not choose, assign, recommend, or endorse a Therapist for any Client, and the order in which Therapists appear is not a recommendation or guarantee of quality. You are responsible for evaluating and selecting any Therapist yourself.
We aim to keep the Platform available and running reliably, but we provide the service on an "as available" basis. The Platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or events beyond our reasonable control. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee the availability, punctuality, or attendance of any Therapist or Client for any booking.
The Platform is not for emergencies or crises. If you or anyone else is in danger, experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, or having thoughts of self-harm or suicide, do not use the Platform. Instead, call your local emergency services number (for example, 911, 112, 999, or the equivalent in your country) or contact a local crisis hotline immediately.
Aman does not charge Clients a separate fee to find, browse, or book Therapists. Each Therapist sets their own hourly rate, and Aman earns its revenue through a commission on the services Therapists provide through the Platform. For full details, see our Pricing Plan and Refund & Return Policy.

We may update this Service Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Effective date". Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
